I have not blogged over two years! I think it is time I start again!The latest thing in our life is Chloe went to Prom....and in a few days she will officially be a senior in high school. Where has the time gone?!?!?!?!

This Weekend was amazing, it was our first experience with community theatre. Chloe had the best time, she is almost always a happy girl but the smile on her face after opening night was one that I will never forget. I told her that she is doing what God has planned for her! She loves being on stage and performing. So now Aladdin is over but we are on to the next Charlotte's Web!

Asthma Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am at my wits end with Asthma! My son Michael who is almost 7 has been suffering from asthma since he was 3. He is currently on 5 medications everyday. I don't think Michael knows what it is like to breath normal. It hurts my heart to think that my first born son has been struggling to breath. What else can our little boy go through. I do know that God is holding our hands through all of it.

What a Relief

Now that we have told everyone what our plans are the fall I feel so at ease. I expected some resistance from certain people and to my surprise everyone is very supportive.

A New Beginning.....

I find it very interesting how God works. We have come to a point in our lives where now more than ever we feel that God has the "steering wheel." In the past I think that we have thought to give God the steering wheel when we were in a "high traffic" part of life. We have started to make some BIG changes in our family.

1. We will be homeschooling 3 of our 4 kids!

I think that public school can be a great thing.....but since the crash of the economy and no child left behind my kids are not getting the best education possible. Schools are teaching to kids just enough to pass the California State Test and while I think the test is a good indication of how well students are learning and how teachers are teaching I feel that my students are not getting the best education possible.

2. We have changed churches

We are now attending North Coast Church, while we have many reason for the change, the most important one is for Chloe. Many of her friends from school go there and she really enjoys it. I have also started Women of Faith there and MOPS.

Many more changes are in the works.....
